Why USD 149 is not “another scan”
A typical UK private assessment is much larger than this report: Bupa Be.Reassured is £929 and Nuffield 360 is £869, both checked 2026-10-19. USD 149 buys the decision work before you spend that money or a fare. We are not converting currencies on this page.
- ✓Whether the public record shows the hospital, the department, and a way to write to them
- ✓Home wait and price context, so USD 149 is a decision, not another scan
- ✓A bring-it-home checklist: English report, imaging files, and questions for your doctor at home
- ✓Human source check before it is signed. That is a source check, not a medical review
- ✓In your account within 3 business days after a complete intake, once payment is actually open
The wait this report is answering
In June 2026 about 1.92 million people were waiting for a key diagnostic test. About 448,500 of them (23.3%) had waited six weeks or more. The national median was about 2.9 weeks, which hides that long tail.
NHS England Diagnostic Waiting Times, June 2026Fraser Institute’s Waiting Your Turn 2025 reports a median 15.3 weeks from GP referral to specialist visit, and a median 18.1 weeks for an MRI.
Fraser Institute, Waiting Your Turn 2025What you should be able to take home
People who have had a check-up abroad keep saying the same thing: the report and the image files have to be usable by a doctor at home. A Clarity Report treats that as a checklist, not a promise that every hospital already does it.
- Ask for the written report in English, and for the imaging files, not only a paper film.
- Ask which format they will hand you, and whether a coordinator can explain the pages.
- Ask what your own doctor still has to repeat. A file from China is evidence, not an automatic NHS or provincial booking.
The Ruijin sample shows the 20-page structure. Doctor names, star scores, and prices that used to appear there were not checked facts and have been removed. Open the sample. The other products are on pricing.
ChinaClarity 明路 is an information product, not a clinic and not medical advice. We do not read scans, rank hospitals, or tell you whether to travel. Treatment decisions stay between you and your own clinicians.
