Refund Policy

We offer a limited refund, not a satisfaction guarantee. Refunds apply only to three defined cases.

Payment flow: PayPal is the payment processor for the USD 149 report. Refunds are sent through the original PayPal payment method after the order reference is verified. This notice does not remove any applicable customer rights.
Not a satisfaction guarantee.ChinaClarity reports are compiled from public sources on the check date. If we deliver a report based on real sources, we do not refund because you disagree with what the records say.

Full refund — eligible cases

  1. We cannot produce the report. After completing intake, public records give us too little to write a useful report. We will tell you this clearly within 1 business day and process a full refund.
  2. We miss the SLA. We do not deliver within 3 business days of receiving your complete intake and verified payment. You are still kept on the delivery list, but you can also request an immediate full refund.
  3. An uncorrectable factual error. A key factual error is identified after delivery and cannot be corrected within the 7-day revision window. This is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Not eligible for refund

How to request a refund

Quote the order reference from your ChinaClarity account or delivery notification email. We will respond within 1 business day and process within 5 business days. Refunds are issued through your original payment method.

One refund per order

Refunds are processed once per order. If you believe you have a second eligible reason after a first decision, we will review it on its own merits — but we do not issue partial refunds for subjective reasons.

What about the revision?

One free limited-scope revision is available within 7 days of delivery. This covers factual corrections, updates to sources that have become verifiable, and additions of new public information. It does not cover rewriting the report to change conclusions. Revisions are not refund triggers.

PayPal fee handling and your consumer-protection rights in your home jurisdiction may provide additional rights. See also Terms, Privacy, and Contact.
